# News events

## News events

Machine-readable market news: each item keyword-classified, importance-scored and symbol-tagged. Sources: Tree News (crypto-fast) and Marketaux (equities).

### `GET /v1/events`

### Event types

| Type          | Examples                      |
| ------------- | ----------------------------- |
| `listing`     | exchange listings             |
| `hack`        | exploits, security incidents  |
| `regulation`  | SEC/regulatory actions        |
| `earnings`    | earnings reports and guidance |
| `etf`         | ETF approvals, flows          |
| `partnership` | integrations, partnerships    |
| `macro`       | rates, CPI, macro prints      |
| `liquidation` | large liquidations            |
| `stablecoin`  | depegs, issuance news         |
| `general`     | everything else               |

`importance` (0–100) is a deterministic keyword-based score — higher means more market-moving vocabulary matched.
